 The interesting City of Miami also called the “Magic City” is located in Miami-Dade County on the Miami River, with the Florida Everglades on one hand and the Atlantic Ocean on the other, in Southeast Florida. Mayor Manny Diaz governs the City of Miami together with 5 City Commissioners which oversee the five districts in the City.

The City has grown incredibly after its incorporation in 1896 converting it into one of the world’s renowned centers where people can combine working, living and playing with the indulgence of a high quality of life and also a renown destination for cruises with its big harbour. A lot of events are taking place in “Magic City” and therefore Miami is recognized worldwide as an international stage:  Miami hosted the 4th annual Latin Grammy Awards show, the visit of the Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar, the celebration of the Free Trade of the Americas Conference, FTAA and the MTV Music Video Awards with tremendous success.

 The City of Miami welcomes heartily everybody to the dazzling “City under the Sun”, it does not make any difference if you are a resident, a tourist or a business man.
