Getting Around in Pattaya

If traveling to Pattaya by car from Bangkok, the trip on excellent highways takes about 2 ½ hours. Buses leave from the three main bus terminals daily. There is daily train service from the Hua Lamphong Station which requires 3 ½ hours. Gertting around Pattaya is easy. The most popular modes of transportation are Minibuses and Motorcycles.  Rental cars and jeeps are available.

Pattaya is a delight for the gourmet! It is famous for its seafood and has international restaurants with Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, German, French, Indian, Malay, and Indian cuisine among others. Prices are moderate. Restaurants are concentrated along Beach Road and Pattaya 2 Road.
