Pattaya Beach
This beach stretches almost 2 miles and offers water sports of all kinds. The northern part of the beach is the site of several resorts with businesses, restaurants, discotheques, bars, and nightspots being in the southern part.
Jomtien Beach
Located less than 2 miles from Pattaya Beach, Jomtien Beach, a former area of rice cultivation, is laid-back and an excellent place for those seeking relaxation. Its shore extends some 31/2 miles and is very attractive being lined with coconut palms. Waters here tend to be calm throughout the year and Jomtien Beach is a favorite for windsurfing.

In April a variety of games, beauty contests, sales, and entertainment is held in Pattaya.

In addition to the plethora of water activities here, there are also a variety of non-water sports such as golf, tennis, horse riding, archery, and skeet shooting. There is also a Paintball area. Health clubs can be found in the resorts. For shoppers there are trendy boutiques and shops for jewelry, handicrafts, silk and other items at reasonable prices.
