Getting Around in Bangkok

 Bangkok offers many options for getting around the city or into the interior. Its Skytrain will speed you across town above traffic congestion. Terminals are located in most commercial areas such as Silom and Siam Square. In  Bangkok, city buses offer an efficient and inexpensive way to travel. They are both regular and air-conditioned. There are also Microbuses with wider seats if you wish. Taxis are available and the three wheeled Tuk Tuk as well as Motorcycle Taxis, and Open-air vans. All major rental car agencies have branches here. River Taxis will transport you along the waterways of the city.  For travel to the countryside or other cities, buses and trains are fast and not costly. Thai Airways has many flights each day to other cities in the country as well as international flights.
