Welcome to Ibizia, Spain
The island of Ibizia, named for the predominant white color of its buildings, has gained international fame as a cosmopolitan tourist island, especially known for its nude beaches and rousing night-life. Little colonies of “hippies” can be found around the island living their special life-style. Nevertheless, there is much for other tourists to enjoy, especially if one is aware of the history of the island that was founded in 654 B.C. by Carthage and later occupied by Rome.
