Foreigners visiting Russia must have a passport and a visa. Visas may be obtained from the Russian Consulate in your home country. Russian customs regulations are much like those in other countries. Be sure and declare valuables such as jewelry, precious metals or stones. Cameras, camcorders, portable electronic equipment and most personal belongings can be entered into Russia free of charge. This includes cigars and cigarettes.
