Manzanillo City is mainly an industrial port, but its main charm is the marvelous variety of beaches in the south of the city. With a little patience you will find your own little paradise with good waters to bathe and to enjoy the sea.

Walking down the main avenue you will come to the hotel zone, starting with the resort at the 'Azul' beach, then you'll reach the entrance to the beaches 'La Audiencia' and 'La Escondida' including hotels, houses and other wonderful buildings, which are painted all in white composing a fascinating contrast with the blue ocean and the green hills. It is worthwhile spending some moments only walking around and enjoying the spectacular view. Further on to the south you will find 'Santiago' beach, where a lot of surfers are practicing their favorite sport with the bigger waves and last but not least the beaches 'Olas Altas' and 'Miramar' which are even more popular.
