Getting Around in Tokyo:

 Most travelers entering Japan fly into the International Airport at Tokyo. In Tokyo, as in all Japanese cities, a very efficient subway/train transportation system makes getting around fast and simple. Taxis and buses are of course available.  It is a good idea to study the transit network near your hotel prior to arriving.

Tokyo Dining:

 Tokyo has an incredible number of restaurants/bars – some 200,000 in the Kanto region. These range from first class restaurants featuring the most delectable meats and seafood to corner Yatai eating stalls – from Ryotei traditional dining to the Izakaya, the informal Japanese pub style of eating. Many Japanese restaurants specialize in one type of food. The best place to try Sushi and Sahimi (raw seafood dipped in soy sauce) is a kaiten-zushi bar. All large department stores have a food court.
