The Marienplatz is one of Munich's social place and well known public square.
English Garden (Englischer Garten)

This splendid and extraordinary park is very frequented by many visitors, it features a beer garden and a boating lake.
Olympiapark

This was the home of the 1972 Summer Olympic Games.  It includes an outstanding sports complex, a jogging track, and many other attractions.
Karls Gate (Karlstor)

This is a "must see" monument.

New and Old Town Hall (Neues Rathaus und Altes Rathaus)

It's located on the Marienplatz and is the actual home to Munich's city goverment.

Glockenspiel im Rathausturm

The most magnificent sounds of bells can be enjoy in the downtown part of Munich, as it holds 43 bells.
Theresienwiese

This is a park that is home to the world famous Oktoberfest, which is the most popular folk festival in the city.  It takes place during September and lasts for 16 days.  Over 5 million people visit this festival every year.

Königsplatz

This public and well known square represents the style of ancient Greece.

Angel of Peace (Friedensengel)

This statue celebrates the 25th anniversay of the victory over France in 1896.
Munich Zoo (Münchner Zoo Hellabrunn)

Features a wide variety of different species and their habitats.

Genreal’s Hall (Feldherrenhalle)

Führer Building

This monumental building is home to the Munich Agreement from 1938 signed by Hitler and Chamberlain. Currently is part of the College of Music.
