Vienna is the capital of Austria and its largest city, too. Vienna is world wide known as the city of music and is located at the feet of the Danube. Vienna is a city of many relevant moments and situations. At the beginning, Vienna was a Roman military camp that was named Vindobona, which is currently located in the center of the city. In the years to come, it became home to the famous Habsburg Dinasty and then a province called Bundesland in the year of 1922. Eventhough, World War I devasted the city, Vienna is nowadays known as the most relevant and most frequented city in the whole country of Austria.
Vienna is also known for being a multicultural city of all times, as everyone enjoys its many cultural attractions such as the Schonbrunn Palace and the Imperial Palace also known as Hofburg. Something else worth visiting is the Ring Boulevard where you will be delighted with its majestic architecture.
Vienna is also an extraordinary place of learning and a fountain of cultural knowledge, as it is home to 100 museums, over 40 theatres, and three opera houses. Here you can also enjoy music festivals and visit the Museumsquartier, which is home to the largest cultural place in Europe.
