Visit the Salzkammergut, a well known region that features different sports such as, surfing, swimming and sailing.  Also the Dachstein, where gigantic ice caves will take your breath away.  And don't forget the museum of the Emperor Franz Joseph which used to be his summer villa located in Bad Ischl.

Another major attraction is Lake Attersee which is in the center of hills and some excursion boats.  Here you will enjoy a great time with other outdoor experiences such as, hiking, biking, surfing, and swimming, and you may also enjoy the resort and attend diving lessons. You will also see the different marked hiking trails that overlook the water around the Lake Weissensee, where swimmers and everybody enjoy the great summer.
