Salzburg is located in the west side of Austria and its most important economical activities include tourism, textiles, and beer industries among others. Salzburg is the capital of the state of Salzburg and it is frequently called the capital of the "Salzburger Land", the district named Bundesland. It was founded in the year of 696 and years after it had been formed as an independent church state, called in that time "Rome of the North".
