Getting around in Innsbruck

It is very easy to get around in Innsbruck.  You may use the effective network tram or its bus service , which includes 25 buses that travel around the city.  It is very convenient since you may use the same tickets for both ways of transportation.

Triumphal Arch – This very well known monument in Innsbruck holds memory to the Emperor Francis I and it celebrates the wedding of the Duke of Tuscany.  The Triumphal Arch stands in the middle of downtwon Innsbruck in the streets of Marie-Theresien-Strassen and Leopoldstrasse.

Saint Anna’s Column – This monument in Innsbruck integrates a variety of Christian figure sculptures and celebrates the withdrawal of the Bavarian forces during the war of the year 1703.

Swarovski Kristallwelten – The famous crystal, the swarovski takes its home in this elegant and glamourous museum, as it features a display of the finest collection of swarovski ever presented.

Tiroler Volkskunstmuseum – The Tiroler museum offers a collection of the most popular arts and crafts, featuring local costumes, furnishing and other ethnical items and tools. 

Dom zu St. Jakob – This astonishing cathedral represents the baroque style as you have never seen it before! It displays a roof of domes and the ceilings are lined with attractive frescoes.

Golden Roof Maximilianeum –This highly famous museum is home to the celebration of a Royal Wedding back in the 16th century and in the second floor you may also spot a marvelous museum that takes its named after the well known Emperor Maximilian.

Innsbruck Alpenzoo –  This zoo specializes in being home to alpine animals and a variety of mammals from the Alps.
